Responsibilities
• Studio Owner/Manager – Responsible for implementing this plan and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Instructors – Responsible for supervising classes, demonstrating safe dance technique, reporting hazards, and ensuring students follow safety rules.
• Students and Visitors – Responsible for following all safety instructions and reporting hazards or injuries.
Any movement activity comes with some risk of injury. We will endeavour to minimise any risks, however all dancers must be responsible for their own safety, and in the event of injury, Dança Latina is not responsible.
Please minimise your personal risks by wearing suitable clothing and dance shoes, warming up before dancing and dancing to your own limits and abilities.

Review and Updates
This Health and Safety Plan will be reviewed annually or whenever there are significant changes to operations, government regulations, or identified risks.
This Health and Safety Plan outlines the policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all students, instructors, and visitors attending dance classes at the studio. The plan aims to identify potential hazards, implement control measures, and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
